If you Really want to succeed, then this is a proper way to do it. It costs nothing for the hard work except your time. There are small costs for a domain and hosting service, but that is it. Its a slow burner, but get it right and each project will earn $1000+ Passively.

This is blogging the right way. This will answer your question. Anyone can do it, but 99% will pack in after the first couple weeks. That makes it even better for us guys that want a successful online business.

Forget all that back linking nonsense, seo and other software systems that help you rank. You won’t need them. You will need to work out some keywords, but you can do that for free. So no parting with money needed here. Like I say, the only investment is in a domain name and hosting. You can get a domain for $10 and hosting for $7 a month. The biggest investment is your time.

Here is the idea in a nutshell

You drill down a niche that has very little competition on Google. I had a look earlier and found one. ‘Keeping Ants as pets’.Now that sounds a bit weird I know, but there are a handful of blogs/sites that rank on the first page for this search. It gets around 50 searches per month. Keyword tools by the way are mostly very inaccurate so its like to be a lot more than 50 a month. Anyway, this will be one of our main keywords we are going to rank for, and this is how we do it.

CEATING WEBSITE

We are going to build a blog with at least 20 pages of 2500+ articles on ants. I hear you take a big intake of breath! Seems a lot but it can be done. All articles have to be unique and contain real valuable content. If you copy other peoples work, forget it, Google will not rank you for copied material.

So our first page could be a general page (of 2500+ words) on keeping ants as pets. Don’t keyword stuff (use your main keyword lots of times) just use 3 or 4 times in the article. Make sure you include pictures etc.. that are your own or copyright free as they help to make the article look better and also help in an informative way to. Golden rule is to make sure its all unique content and written in your own words in a warm and natural way. It all helps your ranking.

Once you have completed the first page, now look for other subjects related to the main keyword, which in this case is ‘keeping ants as pets’. I found a great FREE tool to give you some excellent suggestions on other related keywords. Its a free visual keyword research & content ideas tool (called : answerthepublic.com)

It came up with ‘how to keep ants as pets’ which you could then write a page (2500+ words) on that subject. You could talk about different Formicarium (where ants are kept) and do a piece on all the different ones for sale etc.. This is one of the ideal opportunities to link back with your affiliate Amazon web links earning you commissions on any sales through amazon .

You continue the process until you have over 20+ pages containing ant related ideas. Each page could have its own low competition keyword as the main keyword for that page. What you will find in time is that each page ranks in its self for that particular keyword.

Finally, once all the pages are assembled, you buy a domain name, mainkeyword.com (make sure its a .com domain name, they rank better) or I find .net or .org rank too. Then host your site with the domain and let nature do its work.

Nothing will happen for months… But don’t panic, do go buying backlinks etc.. just let the web crawlers find your highly useful content naturally. They will and in about 8 to 9 months, your site will start to rank in most cases. That is if you have done it correctly.

Earning from the traffic.

You can then earn from affiliate products on your site, selling Amazon products as an Amazon Associate (usually about 5–10% off sales generated). You could also earn from Adsense clicks from signing up with Google Adsense and displaying their ads, and even selling your own ebook from the site.

The example I have given you, is just to demonstrate how you do it. The keywords are a little low, but I have found a main keyword with 2000+ searches a month and about 3 blogs ranking that keyword. I should easily be able to get to the first page of Google naturally and earn a decent amount from the site. Remember, it takes over 9 months to start to see your site start ranking naturally.

Once you have set up a site, you just leave it for the web crawlers to find and get on with starting another. I find to do a blog site properly, it takes me 2 months. Writing a 2500 article takes half a day or so, so you can see there is plenty of work to do before you get your rewards.

The thing I love about this way of earning money is the passive income you earn. After a year or so, your site just keeps on earning passively. You only need to check on it every couple of months or so for a quick update etc.
